Grass-fed & Grass-Finished Beef
Never in feedlots and never given antibiotics or growth hormones. Grass fed and grass finished, our beef graze on lush pastures through spring, summer, and fall, with an occasional apple. In winter, we provide hay as well as minerals to keep them healthy when grass stockpiles are unavailable. They also continue to graze in winter if snow is not on the ground and grass is still plentiful. In spring, they return to only grazing grass as soon as the earth warms enough for grass to grow. We rotate regularly to keep grass high, legumes plentiful and our animals healthy. Our grass-fed beef is never given grain, resulting in beef that is richer in flavor, lower in fat, and a healthier choice for your table. Our breed is the well known Angus / Limousin (for better marbling).
We offer beef by the cut at our farm shop, as well as seasonally by the whole, half, or quarter and also the option of a family sample pack. This is all USDA inspected, packaged and frozen to preserve quality and fresh taste.
